Sap-wood is an external, unripe part of the tree, under the bark and the shuck. With its remove we get a very hard and resistant material which has 80 years of life-span with outdoor usage. We recommend it for constructions of supporting walls, garden toys etc. Its advantage that it's very durable without treatment.
