XV. During the reign of Louis the King of France (1710-1774), in the late period of the Baroque, a new style of decoration appeared, the Rococo.

The style of the furniture of the age does not break with the baroque lines, it rather complements them with richer, playful elements, turns to meet the need for comfort and luxury, asymmetrical carvings are typical, they make separate women's and men's furniture for maximum comfort. Its soft lines radiate cosiness.

To make intricate, delicate carvings, garden walnut is made from the finest European wood, contemporary and xX. The most characteristic wood for period furniture made after the middle of the 19th century. Most of the contemporary furniture is made of solid wood, the rarer veneer versions are almost without exception made with extremely ornate gilded copper and bronze fittings. Later times (second half of the 9th century) XV. Louis' s furniture had already replaced the expensive walnut wood on the invisible parts, on the painted furniture with oak and beech. In Arab countries today, modern reproductions are made of mahogany and other tropical wood species. And in Italian furniture catalogs we can also find furniture decorated with laminated chipboard from China, painted with injection-molded plastic elements painted in gold, which are the most relevant examples of how the "purple garden dwarf culture" can take over the fruits of his masterpieces.

The carvings on the contemporary furniture were made of the material of the furniture bodies.

To this day, new XV. Louis style furniture, use Rococo lines to build furniture. In Hungary, we meet authentic pieces only in costume films and castles, their rarity can be attributed to our geographical and cultural distance.
