Furniture made of the simplest possible shapes and colors. Although the minimalist art style is primarily associated with North America, the 1960s and 1970s, many Italian designers already designed furniture that fully matched the style in the 1950s. The works of Pierre Cardin, a French fashion designer of Italian descent, for example, are extremely characteristic of the style.

After the Second World War, design became an independent intellectual product, we can come across Korean cars designed by Italian designers, which is marked with the logo of the American car brand for the sake of completeness.

Efforts for formal simplification appeared on much earlier furniture styles, and furniture made in the Biedermeier style in its day also seemed minimalist. His direct intellectual antecedents can be observed on the Bauhaus art style on minimalist furniture.

Created by nature, organic forms, their stylized representation is completely ruled out. Minimal-style houses are often built outside cities, where huge glass windows frame the natural environment, and from a distance, human creation is framed by the environment.

Furniture becomes crowded in a small space, requires a large, homogeneous background to prevail, so it is also a symbol of luxury and exclusivity, because only a few can afford to design such huge living spaces.

Furniture with a completely simple line is usually made with the most up-to-date production technology and technical sophistication possible, in many cases they can only be assembled with brilliant technical solutions. The simplification of the form is so strong that the raw materials used can contribute to the overall picture at most with their colors and surface structure, the use of glass, various metals and woods with a simple design is typical.

According to the style that still lives today, they do not build houses, they also arrange flats in Hungary. It is possible that in the future furniture forms will shift in the direction of even more radically reduced forms, but it is probable that, as the rococo's tulip-propagating duck carrots slowly but disappeared, the max. straight circle combination designs are also moving away from us over time.
